CONSTITUTION: A tugboat is so constructed that a cabin 7 provided on a deck 2 is transferred upward to form a space S for permitting a man to pass on the deck 2 below the cabin 7. A winch 13 and an anchor handling machine 137 may be disposed below the deck 2 of the tugboat. Further, a hydraulically operated articulated link device L is disposed in a hold 17 of the bow part of a tugboat, and a towing rope is delivered to a towed boat by the link device L. A fire extinguishing gun 33 may be built in the forward end of the articulated link device L.
