Abstract:
Use of poly(hexa:methylene)bi:guanide (I) is claimed to produce a pharmaceutical for treating tumour diseases. Preferably (I) has a mean molecular weight distribution of up to 15000, especially 1700-5000. Preferably (I) is used with a surfactant, especially polyethylene glycol (PEG), especially in ratio (I):PEG = 6-24:1. (I) is used in lactate-free Ringer's solution or sodium chloride solution, with concentration 0.0001-1 (preferably 0.001-0.4) wt. % (I).
