Abstract:
To provide an appropriate tunable multiplexer.
The present invention provides a tunable ferro-electric multiplexer for use in CDMA communication devices. Tunable ferro-electric capacitors are used to tune the resonant frequencies of several resonators used in a multiplexer and to tune the frequency response shape of the multiplexer. A low loss ferro-electric material and configuration is provided. The tunable multiplexer is similar and has less insertion loss than a fixed tuned multiplexer.
