Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a single-piece high-dielectric resonator comprising a tunable magnetic element formed of a single material and located within a cavity; and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: Disclosed are single-piece magnetically tunable ferrite rods that can be used for radio-frequency (RF) equipment, and methods of manufacturing resonators using synthetic garnets. In some embodiments, a tuner separate from the resonator needs not to be used during magnetic tuning. Examples of fabrication methods and RF-related properties are also disclosed.
