Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and required volume of a tuner. CONSTITUTION: The tuner is provided with at least two signal processing branches for executing frequency selection, reception and amplification and/or frequency conversion of an RF signal and a switching stage for selectively supplying the RF signal from an input terminal 4 to one of these branches. Respective signal processing branches are provided with filter stages 11 to 13 connected to the switching stage, controllable amplifier stages 8 to 10 arranged on the post stages of the filter stages 11 to 13 and mixer stages 14 to 16 arranged on the post stages of the stages 8 to 10 and the output terminals of the stages 14 to 16 are connected to a common output branch 18 through a signal node 17.
