Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten compound recovery process in which molybdenum can be removed from a molybdenum-containing tungsten scrap by a simpler process, and a high-purity tungsten compound can be obtained in a high yield.SOLUTION: Provided is a tungsten compound recovery process comprising steps of: oxidation-treating molybdenum-containing tungsten compound powder at molybdenum oxidation start temperature or more as well as at less than tungsten oxidation start temperature; alkali-leaching the resulting oxide to leach the molybdenum in the oxide, followed by dissolving in the liquid; and obtaining the tungsten-containing leaching residue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
