To provide a tungsten halogen lump capable of suppressing temperature rise of a base part of a bulb in continuation of lighting.

A tungsten halogen lamp includes: a translucent bulb 11 inside of which halogen gas is encapsulated, and which is hermetically sealed at a base part 11a; a pair of conductive columns 12, 13 erected toward the inside of the bulb at a state that the lower end is buried to the base part; a column fixation member 14 attached between lower ends and upper ends of the respective conductive columns; a filament 15 of which one end 15a is fixed to one conductive column 12 at an electric connection state, and the other end 15b is fixed to the other conductive column 13 at the electric connection state; and electrode terminals 16, 17 which are electrically connected to the lower ends of the respective conductive columns, in which a conductive expansion part 22 expanded in the width direction is formed in an area at a lower side of the column fixation member 14 of a part exposed in the translucent bulb of at least one conductive column 12.
