Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel boring machine capable of detecting a wear state of a disc cutter with a highly reliable constitution.SOLUTION: A tunnel boring machine comprises a measuring device. The measuring device is arranged in the rear of a disc cutter installed in a cutter head. The measuring device has the function as an acquisition part for acquiring edge position data for indicating a position of an edge part of a cutter ring of the disc cutter. The tunnel boring machine also comprises a DC discrimination part 82 for discriminating whether or not the edge position data acquired by the measuring device is edge position data of any disc cutter among a plurality of disc cutters and an abrasion quantity arithmetic operation part 83 for calculating an abrasion quantity of the edge part of the discriminated disc cutter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
