Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the solid electrolyte containing a base polymer excellent in the conductivity of carrier ions and exhibiting good ionic conductivity at room temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The tunnel type polymer is produced by polymerizing (1, 3) a cyclodextrin compound (2) into a tunnel-like configuration, and the solid electrolyte comprises a mixture of the tunnel type polymer, an electrolyte and, if necessary, a hydrogel. Carrier ions are transferred through the tunnel type polymer comprising the cyclic molecule configurated in a tunnel shape in the state difficult to cause the loss of energy by the collision of the carrier ions with the molecular chain, etc. The simultaneous employment of a hydrogel permits to improve the ionic conductivity.
