PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pelletizing efficiency by supplying floc-containing water formed by adding an inorganic flocculant and an organic high molecular flocculant to raw water and mixing them to the lower part of a granulating vessel without lowering its energy.
SOLUTION: In the turbid water treating device constituted so that the raw water, in which the inorganic flocculant is mixed, and the organic high molecular flocculant are supplied to a mixing vessel 10 from the upper side, the organic high molecular flocculant is mixed into the raw water while sinking it to form suspended components in the raw water into floc, the resultant floc-containing water is supplied to the lower part of the granulating vessel 23 and stirred while letting ascend to make the floc compact to pelletize and the resultant pellet P together with the supernatant liquid W are made over-flow to a precipitation vessel 28 to precipitate and separate the pellet, the floc-containing water obtained by mixing the inorganic flocculant and the organic high molecular flocculant with the raw water is supplied horizontally to the lower end of the granulating vessel 23 to collide with a rotor 25a rotated horizontally near the lower end of the granulating vessel 23.
