Title:
TURBINE BACK-PRESSURE CONTROLLING APPARATUS OF POWER PLANT UTILIZING LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT OF LIQUEFIED GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58190505
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain the max. power generation efficiency irrespectively of the variation of composition of liquefied gas by calculating the optimum turbine back-pressure from the results of analysis of the liquefied gas in a power generation plant which utilizes the low temperature heat of the liquefied gas and controlling each opening degree of a steam regulating valve and a turbine bypath valve according to said back- pressure. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned apparatus, liquefied gas is converted to gas form in a heater 1 provided with a heat source W in a relatively low temperature, for example seawater etc., and a turbine 2 connected to a generator 3 is driven by said gasified medium. Said gasified medium is thereafter cooled and liquefied, in a condenser 4, by the liquefied gas supplied from a tank 6 and then returned into the heater 1 by a booster pump 5. In the above, the composition X of the liquefied gas is analyzed by a gas analyzer 11, and the optimum turbine back-pressure P(x) is calculated in a calculator 12 on the basis of the above analysis results. In order to determine the turbine back-pressure P1 to the set value P(x), each opening degree of a steam regulating valve 9 and a turbine bypath valve 10 is controlled by a control circuit equipped with a proportional integralator 13 and a signal-opening degree calculator 14.
