Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing an air foil part of a turbine engine component such as a turbine blade.
The manufacturing method includes a step to install a ceramic core 14 in a casting die, the core 14 having a shape corresponding to a passage formed in the air foil part, a step to install a heat-resistant metal core element 10 to the ceramic core 14 in order to stabilize the tip region 12 of the ceramic core 14, and a step to cast the air foil part.
