Abstract:
To provide an improved cooling system for an airfoil portion of a turbine engine component.
The turbine engine component 10 has the airfoil portion 14 with a pressure side wall 20 and a suction side wall 22 and a cooling system. The cooling system comprises at least one cooling circuit 24 disposed longitudinally along the airfoil portion 14. Each cooling circuit 24 has a plurality of staggered internal pedestals 26 for increasing heat absorption.
