Abstract:
PURPOSE:To optimize a condensor in terms of heat transmission and material transmission, by providing a liquid level controlling means at a liquid pool provided at the exit of a heat exchanger, and providing a gas leading out opening at the upper part of the liquid pool, and connecting the liquid pool and the gas leading out opening to the condensor. CONSTITUTION:Turbine exhaust from a steam turbine 1 flows into a heat exchanger 2 and cooling is done. Gaseous portion in the turbine exhaust is introduced into a condenser 3 from a heat exchanger exit liquid pool 11 via a gas passage 16. Liquid pooled a this liquid pool 11 is boosted by means of a liquid feed pump 14, and delivered to spray nozzles 13. The liquid level of the heat exchanger exit liquid pool 11 is maintained fixedly by means of a liquid level controlling means consisting of a liquid level detecting controller 17, an opening regulating valve 18 and a liquid return passage 19. Thus, the condensor is optimized in terms of heat transmission and material transmission, and making it highly efficient and compact can be realized.
