Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a separate type partition wall into simple form and to make assembly so easily in a highly accurate manner and inexpensively manufacturable as well as to improve the extent of turbine performance.
CONSTITUTION: Only one part of a turbine housing body 10 is divided, and a flange 12 equipped with a partition wall 11 and an exhaust gas passage is made up so as to be built in the part. Therefore the flange 12 installed in the turbine housing body 10 and two centering locations 10d and 10e for the partition wall 11 are formed into true round-form with an axis of the turning shaft of a turbine wheel 14 as the center.
