To provide a turbine rotor blade capable of reducing stress caused in a boundary between an integral cover provided at a blade tip and a blade effective part and improving erosion resistance of a leading edge and to provide a steam turbine equipped with the turbine rotor blade.
The integral cover 40 at the tip of the turbine blade 10 includes: a rear cover 41 which is formed integrally with the blade effective part 30 up to a trailing edge end along a rear surface of a tip of the blade effective part 30 except a leading edge part 31, and a front cover 42 which is formed integrally with the blade effective part 30 up to the trailing edge end along a front surface of the tip of the blade effective part 30 except the leading edge part 31. The rear cover 41 and the front cover 42 have a concavo-convex connection structure and contact with each other in at least one contact surface, and an angle formed between a normal line direction N1 facing an upstream side at the contact surface and a turbine rotor shaft direction extending from the upstream side to a downstream side is 90 to 150 degrees.
