Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a journal section from being damaged, by covering the journal section with a two-section-divided sleeve made of low-chromium steel. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 9b which is divided into two sections by a joined surface 14 is provided with flanges 9a on the both end sections to form a continuous body, and these flanges are connected by bolts to rings 10 fixed onto a rotor 1. And the sleeves 9b are provided with drilled holes 12a for catching, and catches 12b are screwed to a journal section 9b. The rotor 1 is made of high- chromium steel, and the sleeve 9b is made of low-chromium steel. As the sleeve 9b is thus installed, it can be prevented from being damaged by stress concentration at such a time as using a key.
