PURPOSE: To enable hardening on the outercircumferential face at the bearing position of metal shaft thus to improve the abrasion resistance by removing the joint of metal shaft corresponding with the end section of rotor shaft from the bearing position of metal shaft and arranging at the intermediate position between the bearing of metal shaft and the bearing of rotor shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The rotor shaft 2 of turbine rotor 1 is pivoted to the rotor side bearing 3 at the large diameter section 2A while fitted into the sleeve section 15 of metal shaft 4 at the small diameter section 2B. Here, bearing slide section 14 is arranged at the position corresponding with the bearing 7 nearer to the rotor 1 side than the stepped section 4A of the metal shaft 4. Metal sleeve section 15 is formed at the shaft section extending further to the rotor 1 side from said section 14. Then, the small diameter section 2B of rotor shaft is fitted with the sleeve section 15 of metal shaft while the surface of the bearing slide section 14 is burnt. Here, Helium is blown to the fitting section and a section separated from the slide section 14 to perform cooling thus to prevent transmission of heat to the fitting section.
