Abstract:
To provide a turbo compressor capable of facilitating adjustment of thrust force of an impeller.SOLUTION: A compressor 1 includes an impeller housing 11, and an impeller 3 stored in an internal space R of the impeller housing 11. A first labyrinth seal 31 is provided for sealing a gap between the impeller 3 and an inner wall surface 11a of the impeller housing 11 on a back surface side of the impeller 3 and partitioning a space R20 on the back surface side of the impeller of the internal space R into a third region R3 on an impeller outlet 3b side and a fourth region R4 on a rotating shaft 15 side, and a communication passage 29 passing through a hub 23 of the impeller 3 is provided for communicating the fourth region R4 with a first region R1 on an impeller inlet 3a side. The fourth region R4 is communicated with the outside only through the first labyrinth seal 31 and the communication passage 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
