Title:
TURBO-COOLING SYSTEM DRIVEN BY BAS-TURBINE ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3487546
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly judge whether a surge is induced in a compressor of a turbo cooling system so as to adequately evade the surge of the compressor of the turb cooling device.
SOLUTION: The cooling-system comprises a gas-turbine engine 10 and a turbo-refrigerator 20, which gas-turbine engine 10 drives a power turbine 6 to pressurize a refrigerant 21' by a compressor 21 connected to and driven by the power turbine 6, and performs cooling by making use of heat dissipated when pressurized refrigerant 21' is expanded. In this case, it is judged whether or not the surge is induced in the compressor 21 based on parameters indicating force for driving the power turbine 6 such as the number of revolutions N1 of a gas generator of the gas turbine engine 10 and the number of revolutions N2 of the compressor 21.
