Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leakage of a working fluid in a shaft sealing device of a turbo machine handling liquid as the working fluid, and to reduce unstable fluid force acted on a rotor.SOLUTION: A turbo machine has: a rotor which has an impeller; a bearing which rotatably supports the rotor; a casing which involves the rotor to form a static flow path; and a shaft sealing device which reduces the leakage of the working fluid from a clearance portion between the casing and the rotor. The working fluid is liquid, and the shaft sealing device is provided with a plurality of axial grooves intermittently disposed through a land portion in an axial direction and a circumferential direction of the rotor, on an inner peripheral surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
