Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo refrigeration device, in particular, that using a low-pressure refrigerant, capable of being miniaturized and improving efficiency by reducing pressure loss of the refrigerant while installing an intermediate cooler having a sufficient internal space.SOLUTION: A turbo refrigeration device 1 includes a turbo compressor 2 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 3 for condensing the compressed refrigerant, a control valve 4 for expanding the compressed refrigerant, an evaporator 7 for evaporating the expanded refrigerant, and an intermediate cooler 5 held between the condenser 3 and the evaporator 7, and separating the refrigerant expanded by the control valve 4 into gas and liquid. The intermediate cooler 5 is disposed in adjacent to a barrel shell-shaped curved wall 3a of at least one of the condenser 3 and the evaporator 7, and the curved wall 3a is also used as a structural wall of the intermediate cooler 5 itself. Further the intermediate cooler 5 has a height dimension H larger than its maximum width dimension W when observed from a longitudinal axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
