Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hunting without forming a bypass route, in an engine body including a denitration reaction device arranged in front of a turbo.SOLUTION: This system for controlling a turbocharger includes: a pressure gage 7a for detecting scavenging pressure Ps in a scavenging chamber 6; a motor 8a which can assist or control driving of a turbocharger 2; an electric generator 8b which can charge regenerative electric power of the motor 8a to an electric storage device 11; and a control device 9. The control device 9 is configured to include at least a scavenging pressure database 9a1, a target scavenging pressure calculation means 9a2 to obtain target scavenging pressure tPs, a pressure comparison part 9a3 for comparing the scavenging pressure Ps with the target scavenging pressure tPs, and a main command part 9a4 for controlling the motor 8a or the electric generator 8b in response to the comparison result of the pressure comparison part 9a3. The total amount of exhaust gas is always subjected to purification treatment. The energy of the exhaust gas can be effectively utilized as drive power of the motor without being lost.
