Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger system which does not repeat compression of air and is excellent in supercharging responsiveness.SOLUTION: A turbocharger system includes a turbocompressor 18 arranged in an intake passage 14, a turbo turbine 20, and an assist compressor 26, and driving of the assist compressor 26 is started and high-pressure air pressure-fed from the assist compressor 26 is fed to the turbo turbine 20 when a sign of supercharging request is detected, and the high-pressure air is fed to the intake passage when the supercharging request is detected.
