Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger capable of arranging a heat shielding plate in a further preferable form.SOLUTION: A turbocharger is equipped with a heat shielding plate 22 which is arranged so as to displace in a diametrical direction of a turbine shaft 12, inside a series of spaces 21 formed between a turbine impeller 10 and a turbine housing 17, and a bearing housing 13, and has a cylinder portion 22B having a cylindrical shape at a position opposite to an outer peripheral cylinder surface 20A provided on an outer periphery of the bearing housing 13. While a center shaft 12A of the turbine shaft 12 matches with a center shaft 22E of the cylinder portion 22B, a clearance in a diametrical direction of the turbine shaft 12 between a housing wall surface 21A surrounding a heat shielding plate 22 and the heat shielding plate 22, becomes minimum at a part between the outer peripheral cylinder portion 20A and an inner peripheral surface 22D of the cylinder portion 22B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
