PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cool an electric motor to prevent efficiency for the motor from being lowered.
SOLUTION: This turbocharger 11 is provided with the electric motor 11b for rotation-driving a turbine/compressor 11a, a turbo-housing 11c built-in with the motor 11b, an introducing passage 25 of which the one end is connected to the housing 11c, and a gas flow generating means 11a(26) for generating a gas flow directed to an inside of the housing 11c inside the introducing passage 25.
