Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve instability characteristics generated by the recirculation flow in a turbomachine having a shape in which blades protrude outward on a longitudinal plane.SOLUTION: A turbomachine, comprising a casing and a centrifugal impeller provided in the casing and having a plurality of blades, is provided. In the turbomachine, the plurality of blades include an outward convex shape in a cross section including a revolving shaft of the centrifugal impeller; the inner peripheral surface of the casing includes an inward concave shape in a cross section of the interval facing the plurality of blades; and a plurality of grooves are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the casing at least in a part of the interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
