Abstract:
To provide a method for washing off the foreign matter bonded to the outlet part of the printing web wound around a turn bar, and a washing apparatus therefor.
A wire 14 is stretched over the turn bar 10 along the cylinder length direction of the turn bar 10 in close vicinity to the turn bar 10 and rotated along the outer periphery of the turn bar 10 at least at the outlet part of the printing web 8 wound around the turn bar 10 to be slid on the surface of the turn bar 10 to peel the foreign matter adhering to and remaining on the outlet part of the printing web 8 wound around the turn bar 10.
