PURPOSE: To prevent mistimed pedal-pressing due to brake pedal pressing by stepping, by actuating, via a brake pedal, an actuating member of a rear-wheel brake by operating a steering wheel, and by applying the rear-wheel brake by transforming the brake pedal into a braking posture in a state that control by a steering angle is operated.
CONSTITUTION: When a shifting lever 9 is pushed to 'OFF position', a shifting member 25 is released from engagement with an engagement member 2e of a brake pedal 2, no matter in which position a sub-gearshift lever 8 may be situated, and, when a front wheel 4a makes a direction-changing turn, an actuating piece 10a equipped on a conversion arm 10 of a conversion mechanism A makes turning motion to make hitting contact with a hitting-contact part 13a of a ring arm 13, causing, via a rod 11, an actuating arm 20 to act. In this state, even if a knuckle arm 7a has made a direction-changing turn as far as a pre-determined steering angle, the brake pedal 2 is not actuated, and neither is applied a rear-wheel brake 3 interlockingly with a steering angle, whereby only an independent motion of operating the brake pedal 2 by a stepping operation on the brake pedal 2 becomes possible.
