To provide a metal machine machining method controlled by a computer program.
The metal machine machining method, especially hard turning using a computer controlled precise lathe, includes a step of increasing cutting depth with an interval during the machine machining and controlling a tool so as to form a plurality of recessed parts 12 to 16. The tool is controlled so that the tool is moved in the axial direction with respect to an element, engagement between the tool and the surface of the element progresses along the length of the element as the element rotates, the rotation of the element is synchronized with the axial movement of the tool, and trajectory of the engagement point between the tool and the element is spiral. The cutting depth is increased regularly or randomly to cut the recessed parts.
