Abstract:

To provide a turnover mechanism that can reduce the number of components thereof and be downsized.

The turnover mechanism comprises: a first shaft connected to a motor and arranged below a carrying path vertically to a carrying direction; swing members that swing to predetermined positions along with rotation of the first shaft; a second shaft that is held by the swing members, moves along with swing of the swing members and is rotated by rotation of the first shaft above the carrying path in the opposite direction of the carrying direction; a turnover roller that rotates together with the second shaft and turns over pages of a print product; push-up means that pushes up the print product by rotation of the first shaft to be pressed against the roller; and an open guide that is provided at a position across the push-up means on a carrying guide and whose distance from the carrying guide can be adjusted by opening/closing movement, which when the roller turns over the pages of the print product, narrows the distance from the carrying guide at a side where the swing members swing by rotation of the first shaft and broadens the distance form the carrying guide at an opposite side of the side where the swing members swing.
