PURPOSE: To perform a turnover of a web without an occurrence of a stain on a printed matter with little generation of a static electricity by a method wherein a turn bar is made of a sintered alloy with a large number of fine holes, and moist air is blown from the fine holes.
CONSTITUTION: A turn bar 10 is shaped into a cylindrical form with 10-30μm diameter fine holes distributed all over the surface. Air is supplied to a hollow part 11 and blown from the fine holes. The turn bar is produced by sintering metallic fine-mesh wire gauzes overlapped in several layers, or by sintering a powder metal under pressure and heat. As the metallic material, a stainless steel, a copper, and the like can be used. In service, air is supplied from an air supply source 12, such as a compressor or a blower, to the hollow part 11 of the turn bar through piping, and the supplied air is moistened. For moistening air, a moistening machine 13 is provided in the path of the piping from the air supply source to the turn bar or in the hollow part 11.
