Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device that transfers a travel car in a U-turn form toward the other side rail from the one side in space between both the ends of double-track rails laid down in a state of being paralleled.
CONSTITUTION: This is a transferrer that travels in a U-turn form in space between both the ends of two rails 3 and 4 laid down in two tunnels at a time when these tunnels 6 and 7 are excavated in an interval between a starting shaft 1 and an arrival shaft 2. A circular travel passage 14, small in a radius of curvature, whose double ends are situated in the vicinity of each end of the rails 3, 4, is laid down in the arrival shaft 2, and a movable carriage 13, having a larger radius than a radius of curvature of the travel passage 14 on a top face and provided with a curved rail 12 where a travel car 10 is made travelable, is made so as to travel on this travel passage 14, through which this travel car 10 is made so as to move its U-turn on the other side rail 4 from the one side rail 3 via the curved rail 12 on the movable carriage 13 by means of reciprocating movements of this movable carriage 13.
