PURPOSE: To simplify construction, and make a number of tapping tools fittable by utilizing a turret indexing mechanism for the purpose of selecting the tapping tools.

CONSTITUTION: Tapping tools 50 are provided on the outer periphery of a turret 5. The tapping tools 50 are provided as attachments so they can be easily loaded and unloaded. The axis-position of each tapping tool 50 is arranged on the radius-line passing through the axis of a die-holding hole 23 of the turret 5. A tap driving device 51 is mounted on the upper frame part 2 of a punch frame 1 in the neighborhood of a punch-position P. Driving of the tap driving device 51 is transmitted to the tapping tool 50 indexed to the punch-position P by an engagement type coupling 52 which can be freely engaged and disengaged.
