Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a work positively insertable, by installing a self-aligning mechanism in a tip part of a turrent capable of rotating and stopping at the desired position, and also installing plural hands giving mechanical action to the work.

CONSTITUTION: A self-aligning mechanism 13 is installed between a turret 7 and a mechanical hand 8 whereby impact force to be produced by insertion of a work 10 is not transmitted to the turret 7. Therefore, mechanical life of a coupling, a bearing or the like among a hand fitting part 1, a hand bracket 2, a speed reducer 3, motor 4 and the turret 7 is prolongable. In addition, since the weight acting on a tip of the self-aligning mechanism 13 is little enough, the self-aligning mechanism 13 is utilizable even to lateral insertion of the work 10 irrespective of the gravitational direction and vice versa.
