PURPOSE: To instantaneously ascertain the thread holding in a groove and extremely improve and stabilize the thread changeover success rate by setting up a thread reeling-in guide and a thread flex with an oblique groove and intersecting a thread stripe with the axial core of a spindle at an angle of nearly 90 degrees.
CONSTITUTION: When the thread reeling-in guide 10 moves left, the running thread stripe 1 falls into the oblique groove of the thread flex guide 12 and moves on the blade cut 7 of an empty bobbin. When the thread stripe 1 moves on the blade cut 7, the thread stripe 1 engages with the blade cut 7 and is held. Since it is cut off between the position held and the package, the winding to the package 8 is switched into that of the empty bobbin. Since the thread reeling-in guide 10 moves to the position near the plane which is normal to the axial core of the bobbin at the blade cut 7 of the empty bobbin 4, the angle θ made by the thread stripe 1 with the axial core of the empty bobbin becomes nearly 90 degrees.
