Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin-lock mechanism for a locker in which a key is controlled easily and an emergency unlocking by a malfeasant operation or the like can be prevented effectively.
SOLUTION: In the twin-lock mechanism for the lockers with the two related lockers A and B, the locker B is constituted by providing with external cylinders 31 and 32, from which mounting flanges 33 and 34 mutually connected and fixed at opposed ends are projected and in which engaging recessed grooves 37 and 38 are formed oppositely in the axial direction on the inside, internal cylinders 41 and 42, in which projections 47 and 48 are formed at front ends, to which key holes 49 and 50 bored to a front are penetrated and in which engaging plates 51 and 52 urged by a spring so as to be projected and retracted to and from an outer peripheral surface by the insertion-retraction operation of the keys 3 and 7 to and from the key holes are incorporated, a connector 61, to which a fitting hole 62, to which both projections 47 and 48 are fitted and fixed under the state, in which the projections at the front ends of both internal cylinders are abutted in the same direction, is formed, a latch 8, to which a fitting hole 8b fitted and fixed to the connector is formed, and the keys 3 and 7 used for the related lockers A and B.
