Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously produce anodes for electrolytic-refining a metal in high quality.
CONSTITUTION: By using the anode caster and forming recessed parts 5, 6 for anode on the surface of at least one side of mold rolls 1, 2 to continuously produce four units of the anodes, a twin roll type continuous caster is made to the caster as suitable for a large scaled electrolytic refining device. Further, since the mold part (cavity) is closed with the other roll, casting flash is not produced in comparison with an opening type mold and the dimensional accuracy of the anode 4 is improved.
