Abstract:
To provide a twin-shaft vacuum pump capable of being manufactured in a substantially simple and low-cost manner, having rotors meeting high requirements for accuracy and inspection, and its manufacturing method.
The twin-shaft vacuum pump develops pumping effects with the cooperation of two pistons arranged on respective shafts. The pistons are each formed of a number of plate components. Thus, the pistons can be manufactured at extremely low cost while rotor profiles are fitted to each other as required with no problems.
