Abstract:
PURPOSE: To industrially produce stick-like twist pie having many twistings by lightly pressing slender pie dough having desired breadth, twisting its top end part plural times, cutting and baking.
CONSTITUTION: Continuous pie dough D is cut to a desired breadth by a round blade cutter and a separating guide placed at an outer end part of a rising conveyer 1 and intervals between adjacent pie dough are extended with transferring to breadth-increasing conveyers 2, 3, 4 and 5. The pie dough is passed under a dough pressing roll 7 such as a sponge roll by a conveyer 6, a top end part of the pie dough is nipped by a nipping tool 8 and twisting is given to the dough by rotating the nipping tool at a place coming out to a constant length. At the twisting is finished, the pie dough is cut transverse to the progressing direction and baked by a desired heating device.
