Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a malfunction of a device, which is caused by a noise, etc., by detecting the twist vibration generated in a rotary shaft, in 2 fixed positions, and calculating the twist vibration in each optional point.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a shift register 29 for holding a signal of each twist vibration obtained by a detecting device 7, a BPF25 for resolving the twist vibration into each mode vibration, a mean operating device 26 for deriving a mean value of a square in a constant interval of time of said resolved vibration at every each mode of vibration, a comparator 28 for comparing the obtained mean value with a prescribed value, and a switch 30 which is operated when the mean value is larger than the prescribed value, and supplies a signal of twist vibration held by the register 29 to a resolving device 9i. In this state, it is discriminated whether a signal of twist vibration obtained by a few detecting devices 7 placed at suitable positions has been generated due to various disturbances of a high speed 3 phase switching line, etc., applied to a transmission system, or due to a noise, and only in case of disturbances, the circuit is closed, and the shaft system is monitored.
