Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handling of a twisted brush and simplify manufacturing of the brush.SOLUTION: A twisted brush 1 includes one bristle carrier 2 comprising multiple wire portions 3 being twisted to one another. The wire portions each have an oval cross section and/or an elliptical cross section at least in the distal portion 4 of the bristle carrier. Further, the bristle carrier has a drawing prevention part 12 arranged at intervals from the proximal end 11 thereof. The bristle carrier can be fixed to a gripper 7 of the twisted brush and can prevent drawing through this drawing prevention part. Further, at least one of the multiple wire portions is formed, at least two areas including different cross sections, respectively, are provided, respective wire portions are twisted to one another, and the bristle carrier is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
