Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out toner concentration control with high accuracy by detecting an average toner concentration of developer in the developing device in the two component developing device where an electrostatic latent image is developed utilizing the two-component developer containing toner and carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A carrying screw 21 flowing and passing the developer into a predetermined position within the developing device A from the left and right (direction a and b) and above (direction c) and a developer introduction plate 46 are provided, and a toner concentration detection sensor 22 is faced to this part.
