Abstract:

To improve a two-cycle engine used as a drive prime mover in a portable manual working machine such as a chain saw, a bush cutter and a cutting polishing machine to attain an intake of a complete air-fuel mixture by reducing a scavenging loss upto a slight extent in each operation point of the engine without depending on a filling priciple.

Each scavenging passage 14 of one side faces 47, 48 is connected to air passages 22a, 22b for air supply, and the air passages 22a, 22b for the air supply of the side faces 47, 48 are separately formed each other to regulate volumes of gas flows 40, 41 inside the air passages 22a, 22b differently.
