Title:
TWO-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE SENSOR SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0469529
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a sensor part compact by composing the sensor part of image sensors which are arrayed in two dimensions, and converting infrared rays into visible light and recognizing the infrared rays as an image. CONSTITUTION:When light of, for example, 2.0mum in wavelength is made incident from an optical fiber 2a, this light is transmitted in the optical fiber 2a and made incident on Josephson junction parts 14 of 16 photosensor elements 11 in total. Then quasiparticles are produced in a superconducting material such as Y1Ba2Cu3OX forming thin films 13a and 13b of the superconducting material with the incident light, and then currents flowing to Josephson junction parts 14 in a weak coupling state are affected. Thus, variation in voltage of the thin films 13a and 13b of the superconducting material is detected to detect detection light as a voltage, and a detected input signal is sent to an image processing part 4b through an amplifier 4a and image-processed, so that the signal is visualized at a display part 4c.
