Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device which gives a signal output of excellent S/N and need no integration operation by combining a one dimensional pyroelectric detection element executing saw-tooth-steps-wise moving scanning and a light chopper. CONSTITUTION:A transfer base 19 starts a stepping movement in synchronism with the moment when the light chopper 12 turns into closed status. This means that a photo-interrupter 15 said moment of closing of the chopper 12, a pulse motor drive circuit 16 receives this signal and transmits a drive signal to a pulse motor 17. The stepping transfer of the transfer base 19 completes at the closing moment of the chopper 12, and it 19 is stationary at the time of opening of the chopper 12. Accordingly, during the time in which the light chopper 12 is closed, the base 19 scans steppingly, and moves saw-tooth- steps-wise overall distance to complete one screen of the picture. The dimensions of a vision 20 to be image-picked-up is determined by the correlation between the number of the saw-tooth pieces of the movement of the moving base 19 and the dimensions of an infrared optical system 14 and the one dimensional pyroelectric infrared detection element 11.
