PURPOSE: To simplify a constitution and a design by combining a condensing lens system by a lens system for constituting a relay lens system.

CONSTITUTION: A titled two dimensional scanner of a laser light condenses the laser light onto a recording medium 11, and also executes a two-dimensional scanning. It is provided with the first and the second scanners 13, 14 for scanning the laser light, respectively, with regard to two directions of the first and the second directions which are different from each other, for instance, the X and Y directions orthogonal to each other, a lens system consisting of the first lens system L1 and the second lens system L2, a polarized beam splitter 15 and a 1/4 wavelength plate 16. Also, the first scanner 13 is placed at a front side focal position of the second lens system L2, and the laser light polarized by this first scanner 13 is made incident to the first lens system of a relay lens system through the polarized beam splitter 15 and the 1/4 wavelength plate 16.
