Abstract:

To provide an industrial double layered woven fabric which maintains surface smoothness and a fiber-supporting property and can improve dehydration, air permeability and abrasion resistance.

A plain weave structure whose lower side warps 2, 6 alternately are passed on and under lower side welts is formed. Two or three adjacent lower side warps are tightly disposed to form a ribbed fabric structure group passed on and under the same lower side wefts. Warp-binding fibers are passed under the same lower side wefts as the lower side warps to interweave upper and lower layers. Thus, vertical grooves corresponding to one or more warps and extended in the longitudinal direction between the ribbed fabric structure groups and the ribbed fabric structure groups are formed in the lower side layer of the industrial double layered woven fabric. Especially, the upper side warps includes two kinds of different structures, and the first upper side warps have supplementary portions not passed on the upper side of the upper side wefts to originally pass on the woven fabric structure. The adjacently disposed warp-binding fibers 4, 14 preferably are passed on the upper side wefts in the supplementary portion to form a structure corresponding to the second upper side warp and the second upper side weft on the upper side surface.
