PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layer woven fabric for industrial use, used as a paper-making woven fabric which does not cause such a state that a warp thread does not exist in an upper face side of two layers at a binding point, has such a structure as not to cause local excessive dehydration, has good fiber supporting properties without deteriorating filterability (air permeability), and has good wire marking properties without causing fiber carry back, nor splash, or the like.
SOLUTION: In this two-layer woven fabric for industrial use, an upper face side warp thread which composes the upper layer in the construction of the woven fabric travels to the lower surface side without functioning as the upper face side warp thread at a position which composes one point of the perfect construction of the woven fabric, or at positions which compose two or more points thereof, and on which the upper face side warp thread ordinarily interweaves an upper surface side weft thread, nor crossing the upper surface side weft thread at the position, then interweaves a lower face side weft thread from the bottom side of the lower face, further travels to the upper face side, and finally interweaves another upper surface side weft thread, so that the upper surface side warp thread functions as a binding thread.
