Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a fire-proof double layer pipe storing thermal expansion powder raw material therein with an incombustible pipe joint without using any supporting member.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fire-proof double layer pipe comprising: a synthetic resin vertical drain pipe joint of which upper part is provided with a receptacle type connection end part for receiving a connection end part below an incombustible drain pipe joint passing through a floor slab in a vertical direction and having a rubber ring sealing between the receptacle type connection end part and the drain pipe joint installed therein; a band-like bag filled with fire-proof thermal expansion powder raw material arranged around an outer periphery of a narrow part of the receptacle type connection end part to close the connection end part through its expansion under heat of fire; a short-cylindrical fiber mixed mortar layer covering a peripheral surface of the receptacle type connection end part and the band-like bag; and a straight pipe made of fiber mixed mortar covering the vertical drain pipe. The peripheral surface of the fiber mixed mortar layer is covered by the fire-proof metallic cylinder for preventing damage of the mortar layer and the lower end surface of the fiber-mixed mortar layer is installed at the upper end surface of the straight pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
